This contemporary home showcases Corten steel and concrete tilt panel construction, and is able to withstand temperature ranges from below zero in winter to above forty degrees Celsius in summer.

Set on a rural allotment on the fringes of a historic gold mining township, the property owners wanted a light, spacious and modern home. At the same time, the new building needed to be a sensitive addition to the nearby historic structures dating back to the 1800s.

The result is a highly detailed and energy efficient home which captures views to Buffalo Mountain on the south, with surrounding landscaping, decking and a 20-metre pool.
