Counter-levered slabs lend a floating, weightless quality to this cleanly designed, contemporary home on a hill.

Four interlocking split levels offer plenty of space and stunning valley views, while in the kitchen a retractable rangehood ensures nothing interrupts mealtime vistas through bench-to-ceiling windows.

Construction was carefully staggered as the site featured steep, rocky terrain and difficult access. Thermal challenges were handled with the use of external venetians, double glazing, Exotech wall cladding with air cavities and two layers of insulation. The result is a cool and carefully crafted home of distinction.
